Ring Type Metal Chip Crusher

Chip ConveyorWhen nested turnings include solids, they must be removed from the chip processing system. The least expensive way to accomplish this is with a ring crusher. The ring crusher presses scrap material against a grate and cut down to a size that will fit through the grate. Any solids that cannot be pressed through the grate are sent out through the solids ejection chute. The ring crusher is a good choice for chip processing systems where metering of the materials is possible and solids are present.

Vertical Axis Metal Chip Crusher

Chip ConveyorThe vertical axis metal chip crusher is the ideal system for crushing turnings into a flowable form. The new vertical axis crushers are self metering and will reject solids. The vertical axis metal chip crusher is more expensive than many other crushing tools, but is well worth the additional cost.

Ram Feed Assist

With every cycle the ram feed forces materials ahead of the gather ram to insure a full load in the chamber. The ram feed assist is a cost effective chip processing system for chips under 4" long.

Shredder

Chip Processing SystemAnother tool in the chip processing system is a simple shredder. The shredder cuts material that can be metered by auger  into flowable chips. This shredder is the most cost effective addition to a chip processing system for chips greater than 4" but less than 10" and for material without large solids that can be conveyed in an auger.

Cart Dumper
